Several years ago, when returning home from a summer vacation in the Berkshires, travelling down rte 7 from Williamstown, we spotted a sign for Berkshire Country Meadows. At that very early date, there were no roads and no model. All we saw was beautiful property with great views, and the Kowalczyk brothers, the developers. They explained their vision for the project, and we were sold.
Having been residents of Berkshire Country Meadows for 5 years now, it is clear to us that we made the right decision in purchasing our vacation home here. Our neighbors are terrific. The homes are virtually trouble free. The property is beautiful. And, the convenience to Williamstown and North Adams 20 minutes to the north, and southern Vermont just a touch further, and Lenox and Lee, 15 minutes to the south, and Stockbridge and Great Barrington, a little further south, confirms that we are in the center of the action. And, of course, Pittsfield, with its many restaurants, theaters and stores, is literally right around the corner. Pittsfield seems to improve with each new season. New restaurants, stores and cultural venues are constantly opening.
With all to do here, we greatly enjoy our trips up here all
year long. Whether it is Williamstown Theatre Festival in the
summer, or hiking in the fall, or just staying cozy and reading a
good book by the fireplace in the winter, every trip is a fun and
relaxing experience. The past 5 years have been great, and we
are looking forward to many more.

When we were looking for a second home in the Berkshires we were concerned about not being in South County but the excellent quality and price point of the Berkshire Country Meadows units were hard to overlook. In the three years that we have owned our home we have found the location to be wonderful. We are close to shopping, golf courses and lakes. We are a short ride to great hiking trails, Williamstown and Vermont. Pittsfield itself has delicious restaurants and lots of art and entertainment. We are still within a few miles of Lenox, Lee, Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow.
In the twenty years we were coming to the Berkshires before we
bought our home we spent most of our time in South County. Having
our home at BCM has opened up a whole new part of the Berkshires
to us. We made the right decision.
